Linking Adhaar Card is not compulsory in India - Supreme Court of India




On 13th March 2018 Supreme court of India has removed the last date Adhaar Linking. Earlier last date for Adhaar card link was 15 December 2017. But Supreme court had increased the time upto 31st March 2018. But again on 13th March Supreme court has announced that Linking of Adhaar card is not necessary for anyone.

This rule was for Mobile number and Bank accounts. It was mandatory to link Adhaar Card number from Bank Accounts and Mobile number for Indian Citizens. But it is not necessary for anyone.

But again if a Indian Citizen wants the subsidy amount of Gas Cylinder then it is must to provide his Adhaar Number to the bank. Otherwise citizen will not get its subsidy amount into the Bank account.
It is unknown that why Supreme Court has made this decision at the last moment. But Government and Citizens of India should respect their Supreme Court. The chief judges of Supreme court of India were capable of making big decisions for the welfare of country and their peoples. This decision of Adhaar card will also proved very big step in the history of India.
